Rafia obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy at The Tanzanian Institute of Accountancy in Mbeya. She completed Form 6 at London Secondary School in Songea, where she studied Economics, Geography and Mathematics. She finished Form 4 at Ruvuma Secondary School near Songea. Her father has passed away. She lives with her mother in a rented house. Her mother sells tea to make a living.
